Arts & Crafts

On Wednesday mornings a group of people meet to do crafts and to socialize. They paint, make ornaments, make cards, light woodworking, etc.

Then each November our chapter of United Women in Christ hold a Holiday Bazaar and sell their handicrafts. The money raised at this event goes to support various missions of the church:

• Community Crisis Center (Elgin)

• Kenneth Young Center

• Meals on Wheels

• PADS of Elgin

• Packages for Patriots

• Missions to Peru and Panama

• Bhare Foundation (autism)

• Phil’s Friends

• Gigi’s Playhouse

• SOS Fund

• Mary Martinez’ Homeless Mission

• Kids Above All

• UMCOR
